The Internal Committee (IC) Training Programme is designed to help IC members understand their role in preventing and addressing sexual harassment at the workplace. The programme covers the key principles of the POSH Act, 2013, while focusing on creating a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace.
Through practical examples and case-based learning, participants will understand what constitutes sexual harassment, how complaints are received and handled, the responsibilities of the IC, and the importance of confidentiality, fairness and non-retaliation throughout the process.
The programme also introduces the complaint and redressal process, inquiry procedure, timelines, confidentiality requirements, monitoring and penalties, enabling IC members to approach complaints with empathy, impartiality and due process. By the end of the programme, participants will be better equipped to carry out their responsibilities as an effective Internal Committee member.
The self-paced IC training was very convenient to complete. The modules were structured well, and the content was explained in a simple and practical manner. It helped us understand our responsibilities as an IC much better.
The training gave us a clear understanding of the IC’s role, the POSH process, and how to approach workplace concerns sensitively. The self-paced format made it easy to fit the learning into our work schedule.
